Make your home feel warm and inviting to attract buyers, sell faster and for more money.
Staging Your Home to Sell
What exactly is staging? It is a strategy designed to make your home warm and inviting to as many potential buyers as possible. Being able to visualize themselves living in your home can lead to a quicker sale and a potentially higher sale price.
Staged homes often spend less time on the market, because staging highlights a property’s best features, downplays its flaws, and creates an emotional connection with buyers.
Areas to pay particular attention to are the kitchen, dining room, living room and your primary bedroom.
I support you in getting your home ready for sale as quickly as possible. I will meet with you and make suggestions on what to do on your own, or be hands on and do the work for you. This may include:
what to remove to depersonalize your spaces without making it feel unlived in and sterile
what to add to make your space even more welcoming
what to clean, fix or paint
rearranging existing furniture to enhance appeal and improve energy flow
I work with you and what you already have. Sometimes, I will make suggestions for additional things to add to make your home feel attractive to buyers. Of course, you always have the final say.
DIY Tips for Staging
1. Clean, Clean, Clean
Clean inside and outside. This is super important. A clean, well looked after house increases buyer confidence.
2. Fix and Paint
This tip goes right along with cleaning. I get it, often we get used to things and stop noticing those nagging details that need attention. Go around the inside and outside of your home and take care of as many of those as you can. Buyers notice, so pay yourself and do it before listing.
3. Declutter and Depersonalize
Buyers want to be able to be able to see themselves in your home. This can be a hard step for sellers as once they declutter and remove their personal items, it no longer feels like their home. Remember, you are doing all of this to attract a buyer, so you can move on. When it gets hard, focus on making the sale and telling yourself that this is going to bring a buyer.
4. Furniture Placement
In my world, stuff equals energy. Too much and the flow of energy is blocked and can create overwhelm. Too little and a space can feel incomplete and sterile. My goal with furniture placement is to create spaces that look beautiful and feel warm and inviting.
Packing or Unpacking
Overwhelmed by too much to do and too little time?
Making a Move?
Feeling overwhelmed by all the details of an upcoming move?
Organizing stuff is one of my gifts. Need a little or a lot of help, I work with each client in a way that works for them and takes care of their specific needs. Some want me to pack and organize the entire move and some want me to check in at arranged times to make sure everything is on track. I can help:
sell or donate what you don’t need
connect you with cleaners, movers, and handymen/women
offer support and guidance when you feel stuck or overwhelmed
Alternatively, if you are moving to the area and need help arranging furniture, hanging pictures, and getting unpacked, I can help. Making your new house feel like home would be an absolute privilege.
I’m here to make your big transitions easy and hassle free.
Decluttering and Clearing
Are you finding it difficult to know where to start or what to do?
Energetic Clearing
Have there been changes in your life: moving into a new house, selling your house, illness, or the loss of a loved one? Sometimes energy can get stuck in our homes or businesses and this affects us. Clearing your space helps to release and move energy that doesn’t serve you.
There are many ways to do this with sound, cleaning, music or energy, etc. Contact me to learn more about how to do this on your own, or with my help.
Decluttering
What is your space saying about you and what matters? Your space reflects what is going on inside of you and within your relationships. Look around, does what you see feel calm and peaceful or chaotic and overwhelming?
I help people declutter and clear their homes to create a space they love. Individual sessions or packages are available. Please get in touch. I’d love to help.
Whether you need a little or a lot of support, I can help.
Virtual Group Sessions
Would you like help, and want to try and tackle your clutter, cleaning and clearing on your own?
The Magic of Being Together
All of you is welcome. This is a judgment free space, with time to connect with yourself and the group.
Get and give gentle support, and acknowledgement.
Projects can feel easier to accomplish knowing that you are not alone and others are there with you.
Devoted time to a project that has become difficult to begin.
Realizing that you are not alone, bad or wrong…simply human.
How it Works
Sessions are 2 hours in length and held weekly.
We’ll begin with a 30 minute check in. Here we will begin by welcoming where we are physically, mentally and emotionally. This is super important in setting the tone for the work that we are about to do. Clutter is often a reflection of what is going on inside us and I want to help you honor and accept whatever is showing up.
1 hour of dedicated time to focus on what you want to work on.
While working on your project, you can choose to be on or off camera. Keep it on and we’ll be with you while you sort, clear, clean and beautify your space.
At the halfway point, we’ll pause and check in to find out if you need support.
At the end, we’ll take 15 mins to share and acknowledge our wins
